SOCIALISE
These are some of the men’s groups currently in Palmerston North – check them out and see if it’s a good fit for you. Our goal is to keep adding safe spaces and groups where men can socialise, create new connections and build friendships.
If you know any other mens groups where men can just hang out, please connect with us via Facebook below.
FRIDAY
Home of Palmy Men, every second Friday of the month at Takaro Bowling Club from 6:30pm, open to ALL men from all walks of life. No agenda, no structure, event for all men to play pool, table tennis, chess, play instruments, eat, chat and hang out.

Man Up is a Mental Health and Well-being programme ran by men for men of all ages that runs throughout New Zealand from Whangarei in the North Island all the way down to the South Island in Invercargill. Situated here in the Manawatū-Whanganui Horowhenua Regions, we have multiple locations you can make contact with in Palmerston North, Levin, Ōtaki and Whanganui. Here at Man Up, we aim to break stigmas surrounding Men’s Mental Health and encouraging men to speak openly about their struggles to be able to provide the support needed. Empowering Men to lead generationally wealthy families, fulfilled lives and promote a culture of understanding, growth and well-being for all. Whether you’re struggling with alcohol and drug addictions, violence, abuse and controlling anger, how to co-parent civilly and want to build more stronger relationships, and so much more, our Men will help you on your journey to greatness.
